In Home Training
Looking for a more hands on approach? Our in person training is the perfect solution to get trained, answer questions, and have the capping process demoed in person from the comfort of your own home. The in-home conference with the patient and their designated capper in training on Penguin's capping method and techniques we have found to be most effective for optimal hair preservation with a hands on approach.
All of the Virtual Online Training plus in your home with hands on assistance and coaching for gaining comfort with capping techniques.
Pricing will vary based on travel distance if outside Central Illinois (Peoria Area).

Virtual Online Training
Via facetime or zoom, you and your capping team (1-3 people recommended) will be educated in the technique of cold capping using Penguin Cold Caps manual system. *Cold cap rental is separate through Penguin Cold Caps.

Demonstrations with experienced Capper, step by step coaching, practice, and critiquing will be provided to ensure your team is ready and comfortable to provide quality capping for you on your first day of chemotherapy.

Overview of chemotherapy infusion day, and what to expect with capping schedule.

Explanation of helpful supplies, as well as a list and links will be provided to you.

Assistance setting up dry ice service in your area. *Dry ice cost not included.

Education in all hair care during and after treatment will be provided and questions answered.

All questions will be answered to ensure that your capping team feels confident, and ready for the first day at the infusion center.

Support provided via phone or text throughout your treatment.

Cost includes up to two hours of training. If more time is needed additional charges may apply.
